The Sunnyland Chapter’s
Lake Dora Cruise, Barbecue & Wine Tasting Gathering
February 17, 2018
Your friends at Sunnyland don’t ever recommend that you drink wine and then cruise in your boat, but on February 17, you can take a cruise, enjoy a picnic, and taste some fabulous wine with your friends!
You can choose to cruise by boat or car to Seals and Connie McCarty’s home for the wine tasting with Jerome from Maggie’s Attic and a barbecue lunch.
The event price with wine and lunch is $23.00,
Assorted soft drinks will also be available.
The cruise will start 9:00am at Gilbert Park in Mount Dora. You may also choose to launch your boat in Tavares or Trimble Park then meet up at Gilbert Park Docks. Your cruise Captain Don Kehr will take you on a scenic cruise. You will return at noon to Seals and Connie McCarty’s home for a barbecue lunch and wine tasting. Please bring an anchor and fenders just in case we run out of docking space. You will unload your passengers first and then be docked or asked to anchor as directed by the Dock Master. Please wait for his direction. The captain will be ferried back to the dock if you are asked to anchor. The last few of years we’ve been ok on dock space.
We will have some classic cars on display for your enjoyment. If you have a classic vehicle, you’re more than welcome to bring and show it.
