SPRING 2025
THE SUNNYLAND SHEERLINE MAGAZINE
The “Sheerline” is the Sunnyland Chapter magazine of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) and is produced quarterly by a staff of Sunnyland chapter volunteers.
The chapter magazine started out as a newsletter called “The Water Line” back in 1986 with Gary and Ingrid Scherb at the helm as editors. Over the past thirty-nine years, the Sheerline has had six different editors all of which were Sunnyland members who devoted countless hours to our magazine.
The Sheerline has won numerous ACBS awards over the years and is considered one of the best ACBS chapter publications year after year.
In each Sheerline you will find exciting articles that cover repair and maintenance of our boats, safety, updates on our SCAMPY youth mentoring program and the new adult program for that learning and helping hand.
Member photos from our latest boating events.
Each issue also includes our “Trading Dock” where you will find that special boat you dreamed of owning or even that part you needed.
We are very fortunate to have a very diverse group of advertisers and sponsors contributing to our magazine and we encourage each of our members to support them.
If you would like to view/read past issues of the Sheerline magazine, go to the “Members Only” tab, then Sheerline Archives.
