A Word From Our New Sheerline Editor
Bill Robbins
Now that my seven year boat building project is finished I’m finding out a few things. Mainly I need something to do. When I was the Sheerline Editor for about four years, I was really into the boat project at the same time but it was too much to do both at once. Kurt Rothe has decided to take a break at just the time when I was free to step back into the job as editor so here I am.
These are challenging times for Sunnyland for several reasons. Mainly we need to keep the spirit level high until we can hold events and socialize the way we always have. Meanwhile we can still maintain our boats and use them with others. We can still exchange ideas and stories and show off our boats and this is were Sheerline and the website come in.
Sheerline is a good vehicle to help with the spirit level and I intend to keep it high. Two Assistant Editors are staying on the job: Skip Frey and Bill Hancock and they have already come up with several good ideas for articles.
My goal is to keep adding assistant editors to spread the fun around. In that regard if you think of something that could help with the spirit level by all means tell one of us. Some good articles come from members who originally didn’t think it was worth mentioning.
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to being your Sheerline Editor again.
