Owner Story

We woke up this morning to another day of glassy water on Lake Dora. I have tried to make it a sort of tradition to ski behind my 1962 Correct Craft Compact Skier on at least one summer holiday every year and today’s conditions were looking good. To make things more fun I decided to go with a wood Cypress Gardens ski, part of a pair that were recently acquired. I am not always a big fan of technology but I have to say that my regular D3 performance ski feels light years ahead of the Cypress Gardens ski that felt like I was riding on a two by four board. It was still fun and good for a laugh. Nancy did a great job driving the boat and my neighbor Pete Williams got a few photos from his dock.
