Sunnyland Annual Barbeque and Wine Tasting
The Sunnyland Barbeque and Wine Tasting event at the Hickory Point Recreational Park in Tavares was well attended by over 80 members this weekend. Thanks to Jack Bingham for putting this beautiful annual event together for us. Jack picked a perfect day, with a little bit of clouds in the morning and a light breeze and sun by noon.
The boaters started out at Gilbert Park in Mount Dora at 10:00 am, cruising through the scenic Dora Canal onto Hickory Point located on Lake Harris to meet up with the folks that came by land. The barbeque was provided by OakWood Smokehouse & Grill and the wine was by Maggie’s Attic.
It was great to get back out on the water and meet up with our old friends and make a few new ones.
